For over twenty-five years, Alan G. Sherwood has provided leadership expertise in managing institutional advancement programs in the health care and education setting in fifteen states. Sherwood has served on the senior management team as Chief Development Officer of two large regional referral hospitals. Currently, he owns and operates Sherwood Consulting Services, Inc., a multifaceted consulting company that specializes in capital and endowment campaigns, planned giving programs, executive search and career coaching. He works in the Mid-West and Rocky Mountain West having served clients from Albuquerque New Mexico to Bemidji, Minnesota. He also has a real estate investing and property management firm. Ron Huddleston and Alan work jointly on client development, fundraising management and executive recruiting. Alan specializes in small to mid-size non-profits which normally do not get the attention of larger fundraising consulting firms.
